Bangladesh Centre for E-governance (BCEG) is a non-profit and nonpolitical body registered on April 02, 2008 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (ACT XXI of 1860) by the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms of Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
The vision of Bangladesh Centre for E-governance is to become a centre of excellence in the field of e-governance in the developing countries in order to promote good governance.
The mission is to promote and assist effective use of modern ICTs in public administrations combined with organizational change and new skills in order to improve transparency, efficiency and productivity in public services, enhance the quality and effectiveness of governance and democratic processes and strengthen support to public policies.
